As many Housekeeping Maid Easy (HME) customers will identify with, I must begin with applause for the one and only Jackie. 👏🏻 She is such an amazing gift! I could produce an endless list of her amazing qualities, but just to mention a few, Jackie works harder than most, is focused on her work, fulfills special requests and genuinely cares about others. Without question, I won the lottery when Jackie was assigned to do my first deep cleaning…afterwards, I only wanted her. 🤞🏻 God willing, Jackie will grace my home in the future.
Because I recognize the importance of sharing feedback, I’m constantly rating/reviewing businesses. Although respectful, I share candidly, and if appropriate make suggestions to maximize quality of service. It is rare that a provided service was perfect; no problems/complaints and/or the service exceeded expectation (i.e. I am not afraid to be honest). Well, this is my third review of HME service, and once again, I have nothing but love and flowers to throw their way. ❤ 💐 Initially, I questioned if HME would live up to their 100% guarantee, but based on my experiences, they do.
With kind respect/intent, I found something less than perfect to share. As I attempt to rate/review HME via their provided links through text and email, I'm reminded there are some barriers/obstacles for those of us who use screen reading software due to blindness. The link provided via text led me to a tool (i.e. STU Invite). For whatever reason, after moving focus away from that window, and back again, I was able to select to review via Google. Providing comments was possible, but I may have messed up. My review from months ago was present in the edit field, so I deleted them and inserted current comments. Worried that erased my prior review from displaying in Google, I attempted to copy prior comments at the bottom; the form refused to let me do that…so sorry! Perhaps there is a character limit. As for rating, I am unsure if the desired option was selected. Curious if those with vision are shown what number options mean (5 equals excellent); I heard nothing but number of stars and status of associated checkbox. Assuming 5 is good, I clicked there. The tool accessed via the provided email link, led me to a Google form; the page is different from what I previously described in regards to rating options. Even though the 3 rating graphical options are identified via screen reader, there is no way to know if I successfully clicked on the desired rating… hoping I managed to select “Great” via both tools. The edit field for comments via this tool was empty, so not concerned about deleting the prior comments. If HME values my ability to provide an accurate rating, their IT staff needs to consult appropriate guidelines related to online accessibility standards.
A friend recently resisted the need to use a housekeeper…why spend money on something I can do. Okay, true for some, but I promise, if you can afford it, it is a treat and/or gift to yourself! Life can be tough; pampering makes it so much easier. Anybody who has eaten away from home, who has had a mani/pedi, who had groceries delivered, etc. get it. A housekeeper not only pampers, but enables you to redirect time/energy elsewhere. Although I have only worked with HME, it is difficult to imagine another housekeeping business could compete/exceed the quality/flexible/safe experiences I have been blessed to receive. Of course Jackie is the main reason, but I am betting all HME employees would be great to work with.
So, what are you waiting on? Don’t hesitate; schedule an appointment…you will not regret doing so! 😊
